About the Role
Cognizant is hiring fresh graduates for its Digital Workplace Practice team. The selected candidates will work in the Service Desk function and act as the first point of contact for end-users facing IT-related issues.
The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software problems, managing service tickets, and ensuring smooth IT operations for clients across different geographies.
This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy solving technical problems, communicating with users, and building a career in IT support and digital workplace technologies.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will:
- Serve as the first point of contact for users reporting IT issues.
- Log, track, and resolve Service Desk tickets within defined SLAs.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
- Provide quick and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Escalate complex issues to internal technical teams.
- Collaborate with multiple IT teams for faster issue resolution.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles.
- Deliver excellent customer support to global clients.

Candidates must satisfy the following conditions:
Educational Qualification
Students graduating in:
- 2025
- 2026
Eligible courses include:
- B.Com
- BCA
- B.Sc
- BA
- BBA
- BMS
- B.Voc
- Any other 3-year UG degree
Academic Criteria
Candidates must have:
- Minimum 50% in Class 10.
- Minimum 50% in Class 12.
- Minimum 50% in Diploma (if applicable).
- Minimum 50% in UG degree.
Important Points:
- Rounding off 49.9% to 50% is not allowed.
- No standing arrears are allowed.
- Students awaiting re-evaluation results will be considered based on their initial declared results.
Additional Eligibility Conditions
Candidates must:
- Be open to work from any Cognizant office location.
- Be willing to work in shifts.
- Be Indian nationals or OCI candidates residing in India.
- Not be enrolled in any full-time postgraduate course.
